Role Overview:

We are looking for an ambitious, driven, professional and technology ambassador to fill the role of Account Manager - Strategic Accounts . This role will play a critical role in growing our business through effective management of an identified group of customers. Frequent communication, issue resolution, relationship management and value creating reporting will cement your credibility and allow for mutual growth driving initiatives. 


In this role, you will represent our company at a senior level and interact with major clients on a daily basis. You will continuously reinforce  our business case and obtain buy-in from all relevant stakeholders within the target organization. Therefore, the successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, strong commercial acumen and a passion for customer engagement excellence in order to achieve success.


Ultimately, you will be measured on our ability to maintain, protect and leverage these strategic accounts by partnering to drive additional business through their own customer network.

Primary Roles and responsibilities

  • Establish a trusted relationship with the specific account (accounts).
  • Communicate daily to identified stakeholders , prepare reports and dashboard to keep the account informed
  • Partner with the account to develop business proposals for the accounts customers. As needed, participate in account presentations to identified customers. 
  • Develop, implement, and drive the growth strategy in the Strategic account portfolio, with a focus on the application of DataProphet’s technology into the customers customer network.
  • Assist in the creation of tailored marketing & sales content, and provide regular training & updates to the portfolio of clients.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments by researching relevant events, publications, and announcements.
  • Thorough and accurate reporting of account statuses upon the company’s CRM including forecasting on deals. 
  • Provide input to DataProphet’s Executive Team on insights gained through market interaction to inform strategy.

  • Proven track records in anticipating customer organization issues impacting business opportunities.
  • An aptitude for building client relationships (internally and externally).
  • Outstanding selling and networking skills along with strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Energetic, outgoing, proactive, creative and have attention to detail with strong competence in planning, developing, maintaining and reporting upon a sales pipeline.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or relevant technical field within manufacturing 
  • Ideally, an MBA or Business related degree would be advantageous
  • Minimum 4 - 6 years of experience related to the general manufacturing environment
  • Ideally Management Consulting and/or Engineering Consulting experience
  • Familiar knowledge about PLCs, SCADA, Historians, Databasing, IoT, SPC or Root Cause Analysis
  • Solid client engagement experience and a proven track record of excellence in B2B environment, ideally in the manufacturing sector
  • Previous exposure to Smart Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 or Digital Transformation initiatives. 
  • Understanding of customer journey and performance metrics linked to it.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Availability to travel as needed both locally and internationally.
  • Location - Remote - Europe, ideally Denmark, or Amsterdam.
